My diary is a confidante, a tool for creativity and an opportunity to find clarity like no other. So, when my children were old enough to grab a pen, I was encouraged to keep their own personal journals.

>> How does a journaling benefit a child?

Children get the same benefits in terms of a personal journal as adults.

At all ages, there are only certain times when life feels himself blurred, and we know it is time to get out of our journal and write upThings make more sense. Gain clarity in this way can help us to regulate things and decide when we talk about things with someone – and do exactly what our needs. In this way, journals serve as a remarkable way to boost self-esteem and allow children to observe their lives from a new perspective.

Journals provide a safe place for children to express themselves creatively. To obtain journals and memoirs for posterity. They offer the most authenticEvidence of a child's perspective with regard to specific and different stages of their lives.

Can>> How can I help my child to start journaling?

Here are some ideas:

– Especially for journaling will be fun for children. I find the best results if I do not have the specific instructions of exercises (because I do not want to feel like homework.)

– Children must also know that their journal is completely private and confidential. A child must have confidence that parents,
Siblings and friends will not look at the magazine, if not explicitly asked to.

Ask your child if there is something in the journal he or she like to share with anyone else would, but make sure your child knows that you will not be read – and the focus is not true to the letter, things – but to express themselves and to the meat of their own thoughts.

– Let your children choose their own magazine – and perhaps a unique pen. Encourage your> Child to personalize the journal. Give them a magazine and cut out words and images that they describe, and create a collage on the front page that it is unique.

A personal diary need not be expensive. In fact, I find that I'm less inhibited in my journal, if the book is a good old notebook or composition book. If your child is likely to leave than to take the photos, instead of holding a drawing pad. Some children feel some notecardsand a special "thinking box" that can also be set up and personalized.

– Keep the fact that there is no right or wrong way to keep a personal diary. This is to be used to float life and conquer it as you want.

– Write in your journal along with your child. I am in the habit of writing every day in my diary. If you model that behavior, you will find that this is, how your children use their journals. My daughter goes in her diary as a vehiclethat it is easily accessible during their quiet downtime per day.

Making and keeping friends for a skill that children need to learn. Most of it comes from experience, but there are things that help parents to pave the way will be able to do.

Children are now told that it will find increasingly difficult to build friendships. These can be directly connected to modern life and its impact on the development of a child. Here are five possible stumbling blocks have become a well liked and reliable friend.

1) Unrealistic expectations

Young> Children often as men, because they give them what they want. They are not yet developed to identify thinking or emotional abilities realize that the people should be valued for itself. Help your child, while others appreciate their personal qualities and achievements. Learning recognition and gratitude will judge them in the skills needed to attract others and to choose fruitful relationships.

2) The stimulation

The high level of stimulation and excitement provided byTelevision and video game consoles to make games with real-world friends seem slow and ordinary. Children whose performances have been passively following virtual games to play fight for you to meet. Ration of time with these passive pastime. These electronic toys bombard your child’s attention and deter with their own imagination. Encourage your child to play independently on a daily basis, from which their own games.

3) impatience

We live in a 24 / 7World, where it may be possible, whatever you quite quickly and with little effort. Patience and caution are skills that are necessary in friendships, in order to fit into the other and go with the flow. Encourage your child to be treated and learn to anticipate the pleasure of waiting for fulfillment.

To learn 4) Restricted opportunities

Developing friendship skills, including time and practice. The capacity for friendship to grow as the children mature. Their thinking and emotional skillsSensitivity increasingly refined. Smaller families and our risk aversion may mean that children spend less time with friends. Parental care may also mean that the parents react when something more than difficult to be among younger children. Avoid the downward spiral of spending beyond protection and reduced contact, by organizing events and encouraging your child to invite friends home . Getting together with other parents can be a good way of opportunities for your child play with others in a safe environment.

5) The lack of care and support

Older children will keep an eye on the younger ones around to bring them to places and show them the ropes. Smaller families have to guide their children and often formal activities instead chosen to replace a kick at soccer practice with older children. The children learn the same ball skills, but the presence of adults can prevent the free time that> Kids only get the hanging and watch how the older children to do things. Consider find some mixed-age activities to organize something locally or with your relatives or work colleagues. Many children are now living life as either a polarized with others of exactly the same age group in school or under the guidance of an adult wing. Children learn a lot from some older models that they can observe admire, and try to emulate, to.
