Easy Installation and Adjustment
The safety of your child depends on the correct installation of his or her car seat. That's why the Frontier offers a truly parent-friendly design for quick and easy set-up and adjustment. First, the premium push-button LATCH (Lower Anchors and Tethers for Children) connectors ensure a fast, simple and tight installation so you know your child is secure. The tangle-free, five-point harness has eight harness heights you can adjust with one hand, and three buckle positions for a snug and secure fit. For added convenience, the headrest adjusts quickly without requiring you to re-thread the straps. True Enhanced Side Impact Protection for Peace of Mind
 The Frontier also gives you additional peace of mind by featuring engineered true side impact protection. Deep side walls and head support provide advanced shock-absorption and cushioning in side impact collisions, helping to reduce the risk of injury. Additionally, EPS (Expanded Polystyrene) impact foam lining around baby's head and torso absorbs energy in side and rear impacts, cradles baby's head to keep it away from protruding parts, cushions violent side to side movements, and creates a comfortable resting spot. Besides True Enhanced Side Impact Protection, the Frontier boasts other advanced safety features that provide optimum protection. Most importantly, the patented Versa-Tether fastens the top of the car seat to factory installed automobile anchor points, reducing the possibility of a head injury. The Frontier is designed to be used in the forward-facing position, with the harness, when children are two years old and weigh between 25 and 80 pounds, with a standing height of 30 to 53 inches. The booster is intended for children weighing 40 to 100 pounds and with a standing height of 42 to 60 inches. | This car seat is great! It was easy to install and my son fits very comfortably in it! He was so excited about his new seat and cupholders :) I bought it because it was designed with safety as a priority and that is my number one concern. I would highly recommend it to anyone. |
Nice seat but not for tall kids

| I ordered this seat for my 5 year old son. He is 49 inches tall and almost 60 pounds. It is advertised for kids up to 65 inches and 85 pounds. I am extremely disappointed. This car seat is way to small. His head is way too high and it is not safe. Otherwise, it is a nice car seat. Installation wasn't a problem but make sure you read the owners manual because there is a base to the seat that needs to be turned around if you are using it with the harness. We are going back to Sunshine Kids car seats. They are much taller. |

This is the second Britax car seat I purchased. So far I have adjusted this car seat twice for my growing niece. The car seat is comfortable, easy to use and I found it relatively easy to install. I did consult a car seat safety expert to make sure I had placed it correctly in my vehicle as well.
I submit that Britax is expensive, but it seemed like it was worth the cost when you considered that this model allows for long term use with the modifications you make as the child grows. The research also shows that this manufacturer is one of the best. |

| This car seat is a dream to install. I've read that other reviewers found it difficult, but if there is any easier one out there, I'll buy it too! I do recommend reading the instructions first. I picked this carseat over the Graco because I was afraid my four year old would grow out of the Graco too quickly. He'll be able to use this seat for a long time. |

| This is one of the best damn car seats I've owned. My son grew out of his Britax Roundabout so we replaced it with this one. I love how my son can sleep in it an his head doesn't fall forward. He is so comfortable in it. It was easy to install, especially if you go to the Britax website and watch the installation video. I own a Honda Accord and my husband drives a Chevy Blazer and it fits nicely in both. I love how you can adjust the harness height without removing the straps or the cover. Awesome! If you have any doubts about making this your next purchase, don't. You will not regret it. |
